HAUS in Dresden has been Saxony's start to the construction season for over 30 years. From 7 to 10 March 2024, over 400 exhibitors will once again provide a complete overview of the current range of products and services in all areas of planning, construction and renovation. Thomas Schmidt, Saxony's Minister of State for Regional Development, has taken on the patronage of the HAUS 2024 construction trade fair. In these uncertain times, in times of crises and challenges, reliable constants are all the more important for everyone involved in construction. HAUS 2024 aims to provide this in 2024 as well, offering orientation for all market players and networking opportunities in this phase of market upheaval. After a 2-year coronavirus break, 25,000 visitors flocked to HAUS 2023 in March - the more than successful re-launch of the trade fair proves that building is always happening! HAUS reflects what is currently happening in the industry: The trade fair focuses on building refurbishment, energy efficiency, barrier-free construction, timber as a building material and ‘rural building and living’. The construction trade fair will once again be complemented by an extensive programme of lectures with a specialist day on construction law, a planners' day and the presentation of the new Saxon state award “Building Practice of the Future”.
